Job Position: Now Hiring: Travel Excavation Superintendent
Location: Projects across Ohio
Pay: $150,000/year + Company Truck + Fuel Card + Per Diem + Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday - Friday Full-Time

Gillmann Services, Inc. is looking for a hands-on, experienced Excavation Superintendent to take charge of major civil excavation projects throughout Ohio.
What You'll Do
Take the lead on day-to-day field operations for excavation projects
Work closely with estimating and project management teams during handoffs
Plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, equipment, and materials
Oversee site layout - elevations, benchmarks, and construction points
Ensure every project meets quality, safety, and timeline goals
Hold daily site checks and weekly safety/schedule meetings
Build a strong, motivated crew and keep communication flowing
Partner with clients to make sure expectations are met - and exceeded
Wrap up projects smoothly with punch lists and closeout support
What You Bring
Solid experience in civil construction, excavation, concrete, or underground utilities
Proven leadership and communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to coordinate multiple teams and vendors
Willingness to travel to project sites across Ohio
