The Electrical Panel Assembler I performs a variety of assembly operations associated with multiple electrical and mechanical products. Work is completed according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards. Products includes electrical panels and sub-assemblies with a range of complexity for integration with capital equipment. Examples include, but are not limited to, power distribution panels, motor controls, and other types of electrical control panels.
Duties:
Assemble products per assembly process specifications.
Effectively communicate with team members, both verbally and in writing.
Work in a team environment with a positive attitude and support the success of the team.
Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosures.
Work with written instructions, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists.
Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
Work with groups ranging from 2-8 people. Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, prefer technical school or equivalent experience.
1-5 years of experience
Good communication skills (English), both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail, focus, and highest standards for quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience wiring electrical panels and/or electrical sub-assemblies.
Experience with hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, tape measures, wrenches, and torque wrenches. Multiple Openings
Electrical Panel Assembler I - Salary: $21-$24/hr (Salary commensurate with experience)
Electrical Panel Assembler II - Salary: $24-$28/hr (Salary commensurate with experience)
