ENTRY LEVEL CNC OPERATOR – LATHE & MILL

Position Summary

Entry-level CNC Operators support daily production by running CNC lathes and mills,

loading materials, monitoring machine cycles, and performing basic quality checks. This is

a hands-on manufacturing role with full training provided and clear opportunities to

advance into CNC setup and machining.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce parts to spec

• Load/unload raw materials and maintain proper workholding

• Monitor machine cycles and report issues or tool wear

• Perform basic offsets and tool changes under supervision

• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for quality checks

• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production schedules

• Keep work area clean and support the overall workflowCompany Description
