Job Description
Our staffing firm is supporting a client in the Columbus, OH (Blacklick area) in their search for a Bookkeeper. This role supports daily accounting operations and a small accounting team. It is ideal for someone who can work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Our client is open to direct hire and contract to hire candidates.
Responsibilities
Manage day to day accounts payable and receivable
Perform job costing and maintain project-related accounting records
Match invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist with reconciliations and month-end/year-end close
Maintain vendor and customer records and resolve discrepancies
Run recurring and ad-hoc reports
Provide payroll support as neededQualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
At least 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online required
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independentlyPay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
