Job Title: Inventory SpecialistJob Description

The QC Lab Support Assistant provides temporary administrative and operational support to the Quality Control laboratory by assisting with sample intake, documentation handling, data entry, and general laboratory organization. This role helps ensure efficient sample flow, accurate documentation, and timely processing of routine laboratory activities. The position supports QC staff with non-technical tasks to help maintain laboratory throughput and organization.Responsibilities

Assist with receiving and organizing incoming laboratory samples.

Support sample login activities, including verifying sample information and required paperwork.

File and organize QC paperwork in accordance with internal documentation practices.

Assist with organizing Raw Material Certificates of Analysis and other laboratory records.

Stamp approved paperwork and ensure completed documents are properly filed.

Perform data entry for manual test results from batch tickets, Delta V paperwork, or other laboratory documentation.

Assist with entry of manual instrument results into the laboratory information system (WinLIMS).

Support routine administrative tasks related to laboratory data and records.

Prepare documentation and packaging materials for samples sent to outside laboratories.

Assist with labeling and tracking samples shipped for external testing.

Support laboratory 5S and organization efforts, including maintaining orderly workspaces and storage areas.

Assist with retain sample organization, storage, and disposal activities.

Support basic glassware housekeeping such as organizing clean and maintaining orderly storage areas.

Provide general support to QC chemists and lab staff as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.

Assist other laboratory groups with basic tasks or administrative support as needed.Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Basic computer skills including data entry and document handling.

Ability to work collaboratively with laboratory staff.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Basic laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment experience preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
