Job Description
LHH is supporting a growing organization that is seeking a dependable Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in an onsite, part-time capacity. This position will sit onsite in Columbus, OH. This direct-hire role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable working independently, managing transactional accounting functions, and supporting leadership with accurate and timely financial information. Although this position is approximately 30 hours per week, a full benefits package is offered.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities using cloud-based accounting systems
Prepare and post journal entries while supporting general ledger accuracy
Perform routine account and bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity
Track costs and maintain organized financial records related to ongoing work or projects
Generate recurring and ad-hoc financial reports for internal review
Support accounting leadership with audits, close activities, and special projects as neededRequirements
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online required
Solid understanding of general ledger processes and basic GAAP principles
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle confidential financial informationPay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
