Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physiatrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitative care while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough clinical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Manage a wide spectrum of conditions related to the specialty.
Provide EMG studies.
Perform procedures.
Collaborate with physical therapy and other specialties for coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide patient education and promote safe recovery and optimal function.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in NY.
Experience in outpatient practice.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills.
