Join the Emerging Systems Engineering Technologies Department, where we identify and develop innovative solutions for the government’s most pressing Systems Engineering challenges. This role is perfect for motivated, innovative early-career engineers eager to apply and expand their skills in systems architecture modeling and trade space analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop prototypes utilizing programming languages such as Java and Python.

Model complex system architectures using standards-based languages like SysML and UML.

Evaluate architectures with qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Identify and articulate uncertainties in system architectures, defining associated risks and opportunities.

Support requirements management and architecture change management processes.

Translate analytical results into actionable recommendations for U.S. Government agencies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

U.S. citizenship with the ability to acquire and maintain a DoD clearance.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C/C++.

Familiarity with modeling languages like SysML and UML.

Relevant internships in areas such as Aerospace, Healthcare, or Defense.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a technical field of study.

Knowledge of systems architecture and systems design methodologies.

Experience with multi-disciplinary modeling and simulation.

Proficiency in quantitative analysis programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Mathematica, R).

Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.

Demonstrated teamwork experience on project-based tasks.

Possession of an existing Security Clearance is a plus.

This position requires the hired candidate to obtain a Secret clearance within one year of hire.

Salary range: $77,600 - $97,000 - $116,400 annually.

Work location type: Hybrid.
