Pigment FP&A Technical Lead – Enterprise Planning & Finance Technology

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Pigment FP&A Technical Lead to drive the technical strategy, architecture, and development of enterprise financial planning solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a hands-on technical leader, responsible for designing and scaling modern FP&A platforms aligned with business and finance objectives.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and deep FP&A domain knowledge. The candidate will work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for establishing architectural standards, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring seamless integration with broader enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of FP&A solutions using Pigment
• Translate complex financial planning and analysis requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Design and build data models, calculations, workflows, and automation within the platform
• Define and manage the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise systems
• Establish best practices for model architecture, performance optimization, and modular design
• Develop and manage automated workflows, triggers, and business rules to streamline FP&A processes
• Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) and data security frameworks
• Ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines and release management processes for stable deployments
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business teams to align solutions with organizational goals
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers and analysts
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development and solution architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Pigment (highly preferred)
• Proven experience with FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar
• Strong expertise in data modeling, system integrations, and scalable architecture design
• Deep understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Experience leading technical design decisions and owning solution delivery
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge finance and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise planning platform implementations and transformations
• Strong knowledge of data integration, APIs, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and release management
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working in cross-functional and global teams
Additional Requirements
• Must be a senior-level, hands-on technical leader (no mid-level profiles)
• Strong real-world experience with Pigment is highly preferred
• Ability to work in EST or CST time zones
