POSITION: Varsity Wrestling Head Coach

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director and Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous coaching experience preferred

Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School's educational goals

Able to take direction and make mature decisions

Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes

Sport Specific Knowledge

Leadership qualities

Love of the sport

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach

Organize and conduct practices during the season

Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director

Provide leadership in representing the entire wrestling program

Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies

Supervision of athletes

SALARY: Per Master Agreement (contract is under negotiation for 2026-27)

STARTING DATE: 2026-2027 Wrestling Season
