Description This role will be onsite at our Columbus, OH, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX or, Houston, TX, locations Summary:The Retail Network Distribution Program Manager provides leadership and has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to business unit strategies and programs.
This position is a key member of the Physical Channels & Innovation team within the Consumer & Regional Banking business unit.
This team drives the strategic initiatives related to the Banks' physical network (Branch and ATM). This position will lead strategic expansion efforts including new branch and ATM openings and all related activities required to support the network expansion.
The Geographic Expansion Program Manager will lead all pre- and post-opening activities and ensure that performance objectives are met.
Duties and Responsibilities: + Works with business segment leaders and stakeholders to establish strategies, program scopes, deliverables, budgets and schedules.
+ Acts as an advisor to the program team regarding deliverables, tasks, and operations.
+ Identifies issues and risks and drives the program team to mitigate them.
+ Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Oversees all pre- and post-opening Branch activities and executes the New Build Playbook to achieve performance objectives.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree + 7+ years of experience supporting large scale strategic programs across physical retail networks, driving initiative implementation and measurable performance improvements.
Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in Banking or Financial Services + MBA preferred + Experience utilizing a variety portfolio project management tool and creating and tracking project schedules in MS Excel or MS Project + Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and project management processes and standards + Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership + Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them + Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change + Willingness and drive to learn and understand new information + High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships + Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements + Experience leading large, cross-functional programs and projects Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
