Calibration Lab Logistician

Description SAIC is seeking a Calibration Lab Logistician to support the US Navy at NSWC Crane, IN..

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive and review calibration requests from Calibration Custodian * Request and report calibration quotes from vendors * Coordinate retrieval of equipment from Calibration Custodian * Manage outbound shipping logistics for calibration services * Receive and inspect returned equipment following calibration services * Obtain Calibration Certification for Metrology Engineer to perform technical review and approval * Upload finalized calibration data and certification records into the calibration management system following Metrology review * Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements * Collaborate effectively as part of a team, working closely with other support entities * Coordinate efforts with technical and professional personnel on matters affecting equipment performance, test objectives, and calibration/certification reliability and effectiveness * Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience.

Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.

Must total 5 or more years of experience in logistics tasking related to the position.

* No clearance required to start however must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance.

SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
