Role Descriptions: Job SummaryLegal General America is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design implementation and optimization of enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the performance security and scalability of LGAs IT environment. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering with a strong background in infrastructure cloud integration and security protocols. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign deploy and maintain complex LAN WAN WLAN and cloud-based network solutions.Configure and support network equipment including routers switches firewalls load balancers VPNs and proxy servers.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal speed reliability and uptime.Lead infrastructure upgrades including service packs patches and security configurations.Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect data and systems.Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align network architecture with business goals.Provide Level 23 support and serve as an escalation point for network-related issues.Document network configurations changes and procedures for compliance and operational efficiency.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic planning and technology roadmaps. Required QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.10 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCPIP BGP OSPF IPSEC QoS).Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS Juniper Palo Alto and other enterprise-grade systems.Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.Experience with cloud networking (Azure AWS) and hybrid environments.Professional certifications such as CCNP CCIE or CISSP are highly preferred. Preferred SkillsExperience with SD-WAN MPLS VLANs and VoIP.Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise SaaS platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
