Warehouse & Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Control Coordinator to work on-site with our 3PL (warehouse partner). This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, shipment quality, and overall operational performance.

This is not a desk job—this role requires being physically present in the warehouse, working directly with inventory, shipments, and warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Accuracy & Control

Perform routine cycle counts and spot checks of inventory

Compare physical inventory against system records (Cin7, ShipHero, etc.)

Investigate and report discrepancies and assist in resolving them

Order & Shipment Auditing

Monitor daily shipments for accuracy and timeliness

Conduct random audits of outgoing orders (SKU, quantity, packaging)

Ensure shipments meet retailer compliance requirements

3PL Coordination & Accountability

Act as the on-site representative for Play Pits within the warehouse

Track warehouse performance (late shipments, errors, inventory variances)

Communicate issues clearly and follow through to resolution

Operational Support

Assist with urgent orders, special shipments, and retailer requirements

Support documentation of processes and improvements

Work closely with internal operations team to ensure alignment

Qualifications

1–3 years experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or inventory control

Strong attention to detail and accountability

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (on-site required)

Ability to identify problems and take initiative to resolve them

Experience with inventory systems (Cin7, ShipHero, or similar) is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time: 20–30 hours per week

On-site: 2–3 days per week required

Hourly: $21-25/hour (based on experience)

Important Note

This is a hands-on, on-site role inside a warehouse environment. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with inventory, shipments, and warehouse teams.
