We are looking for you
As a Production supervisor you will manage a team of 15 chemists who operate in our Analytical Laboratory. You will coach your team to achieve results concerning safety, quality, delivery, cost, staffing and employee development.
You will report to the Laboratory manager and be located at Västerås Bränselgatan. You will work with a hybrid work schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Production supervisor, your main responsibilities is to;
Lead, allocate, and develop daily operational work within the unit
Ensure a safe work environment and on-time delivery of analytical results in collaboration with the Unit Manager
Communicate for the team in forums both internally and with external partners
Promote team development and ongoing improvement projects
Some elements of administrative responsibilities
You will also be part of the unit's management team, which includes planners, method developers, instrument technicians, equipment specialists, and quality managers, led by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
3 + years of experience in an operational management role with personnel responsibility within a laboratory environment. Alternatively, 3 + years of experience from another leadership position.
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a technical field.
Experience from a Lean certified organization
Experience from an accredited organization
Experience with automation and digital solutions
Experience in change management
