Regional Sales Manager (CPG/Retail)
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales efforts within the assigned region for consumer packaged goods and retail sectors specifically grocery. The ideal candidate will drive have existing relationships and contacts to provide sales growth, continue to build strong relationships with key accounts, and develop strategies to enhance market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives within grocery and other retail chains.
Manage and lead the regional sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders in the retail and CPG sectors.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and promotions.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the CPG or retail industry.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
Strong account management skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
Experience in food manufacturing or production is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
