Controls & Automation Engineer (Senior Level)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation systems. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting control systems for complex industrial processes, with a heavy emphasis on Siemens platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, program, and maintain control systems using Siemens PCS7

Develop and troubleshoot PLC/HMI applications

Support system integration, commissioning, and startup activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions

Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in controls and automation engineering

Proven hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7 (required)

Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems

Experience with system integration and commissioning

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Siemens TIA Portal

Background in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial environments

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
