Gardberg & Kemmerly, a small, established disability law firm serving the Gulf Coast since 1986, is seeking an in-person Attorney to handle Veterans Disability (VA) cases.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Associate Attorney, located in Mobile, AL. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling cases related to veterans' disability claims and appeals. Daily tasks include conducting legal research and drafting written materials as well as using strong analytical skills in outlining the claims. The role requires strong legal acumen and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously—no prior experience with Veterans Disability is needed.
Qualifications
Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough Legal Research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Jurist Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active or Pending Bar Passage (Any state)
Experience in handling Social Security Disability and Veterans' Disability cases is a plus
