Litigation Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Supervisor to lead and manage a team of legal professionals handling litigation matters in the state of New Jersey. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive legal professional with a strong background in litigation management, court procedures, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of litigation attorneys, legal assistants, and/or paralegals

Review and oversee the progress of litigation cases to ensure compliance with deadlines, court requirements, and internal processes

Provide guidance on complex legal matters and escalate issues as appropriate

Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improving productivity and case outcomes

Coordinate with clients, courts, and internal departments to support litigation operations

Train and mentor team members on best practices and legal updates

Assist in managing case assignments and attorney workloads

Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and legal ethics

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity

Strong knowledge of New Jersey court systems and civil litigation processes

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with case management systems and legal software tools
