Location: This is a full-time, on-site position based in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
Note: Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio and able to handle litigation, legal writing, client communication, and occasional travel throughout Ohio, including some overnight travel. Applicants should also be prepared to submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and references.

Job Description
Handle all phases of litigation in Ohio state and federal courts
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written arguments
Manage discovery, including drafting requests, reviewing documents, and taking or defending depositions
Attend court appearances, hearings, and other proceedings
Communicate directly with clients and help manage ongoing matters
Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies and boards
Support union-side labor matters, including grievance and arbitration work
Assist with collective bargaining preparation, proposal drafting, and negotiations
Advise clients on labor, employment, and related legal issues
Travel as needed throughout Ohio for hearings, meetings, and case activity
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Ohio
2+ years of attorney experience preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Litigation experience strongly preferred
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Able to manage multiple active matters with minimal hand-holding
Strong client communication and professional judgment
Comfortable with occasional travel throughout Ohio
