Position Summary
FPC - Fortune Personnel Consultants of Orlando is conducting a search for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a global automotive supplier’s facility in North-Central Indiana. This is a direct-hire, permanent role for a candidate looking to lead high-stakes product launches in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Relocation
Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (Based on experience).
Relocation Assistance: Full relocation package provided. Our client is looking for the best talent and will fully support your move to the North-Central Indiana region.
Status: Direct-hire with full corporate benefits.
Core Responsibilities
Launch & APQP: Lead quality activities for new product launches, ensuring all customer-specific requirements are met.
Customer PPAP: Manage and coordinate all PPAP submissions for major OEM accounts.
Technical Problem Solving: Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why) for customer quality concerns.
Quality Standards: Maintain and audit IATF 16949 systems and manage quality scorecards.
Communication: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer audits and quality reviews.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment.
Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Industrial Engineering (BSIE), or a related technical degree.
Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in AIAG standards (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Systems: Extensive working knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder. (Our client cannot provide Visa, OPT, or CPT sponsorship).
