As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Corporate Finance Technology team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and support multiple Java applications on AWS and Internal GAIA Cloud (GAP and GVP) platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

Serve as the Application Owner for global travel and expense applications, overseeing their development, maintenance, and support

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to application functionality and user experience

Collaborate with cross functional teams in an Agile environment, including Product Managers, UX designers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

8+ years of coding experience in Java and 2 + years of React Development

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular or React

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Advanced in one or more programming language(s)

Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies and cross product team collaboration

Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), application resiliency, and security practices

Experience with Micro Services, API development and Cloud Technologies Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

AWS Certifications

Full Stack development experience
