As a Shop/Plan Operator Specialist, you will be responsible for:

During machining operations (milling and inspection), the operator will complete item inspection plans, identify materials, and perform preliminary inspections of parts in accordance with applicable specifications

During machining and inspection operations, the operator will be responsible for the workstation and for compliance with production line management rules

The operator will be asked to suggest improvements to their activities, in accordance with the company's continuous improvement program

They will participate in weekly discussions on safety and quality issues within their team (Safety & Quality Talk).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a high school diploma (preferably a Mechanical Engineer)

Have referenced experience in mechanical milling

Demonstrate knowledge of Baker Hughes products Knowledge of boring/milling using CNC machines

Be available to work shifts (including weekends, if necessary)

Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret drawings/technical specifications

Be proficient in using precision measuring tools

Be computer literate (Excel, Word, email, etc.)

Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility

Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
