Position Overview

As a Professional Skills Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach, mentor, and inspire finance professionals across a range of client-facing, leadership, and communication skills.

In this role, you will:

Serve as a lead facilitator for professional skills training sessions focused on sales, relationship management, and leadership within financial services.

Help professionals strengthen their ability to engage with senior stakeholders, deliver strategic client dialogue, and build long-term, value-driven relationships.

Develop your public speaking and facilitation skills, establish your personal brand as a thought leader, and expand your professional network across global financial institutions.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in client-facing roles within corporate or investment banking (or broader financial services), combined with a passion for teaching and developing others.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver in-person and virtual training seminars for clients, including:

Professionals at investment banks, corporate banks, and financial institutions.

Corporate clients and executive-level participants.

Design and facilitate sessions on topics such as:

Relationship management and consultative sales

Strategic client dialogue and cross-selling across CIB products

Executive communication and presentation skills

Leadership development and team management

Personal brand and professional presence

Customize training content to align with client needs, industry context, and strategic priorities.

Coach participants to enhance their communication style, influence, and effectiveness in both internal and client-facing environments.

Collaborate with WSP to:

Continuously improve and evolve training materials

Develop new content aligned with market demand and client feedback

Successfully complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program to refine facilitation and delivery skills.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

5+ years of experience in corporate or investment banking, or related financial services roles

Background in client-facing roles such as Relationship Manager, Coverage Banker, Sales, or Corporate Finance

Strong understanding of CIB products (e.g., lending, capital markets, M&A, treasury/cash management)

Experience in training, coaching, or learning & development is highly preferred

Education:

MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required

Skills & Passion:

Expertise in professional skills training, including sales, leadership, communication, and relationship management

Strong facilitation and presentation skills with an engaging, high-energy delivery style

Ability to connect with diverse audiences, including senior executives

Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing professionals

Location & Availability:

Based in the Middle East, UK, or Europe

Willingness to travel internationally for in-person training engagements

Flexibility to conduct training sessions Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed

Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 training days per year
