Location: Lewis Center, OH 43035

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift

Description: Acloché has immediate openings for CNC Programmers in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints: Read and understand blueprints and models of the product to determine the project's specifications

• Write code: Use computer modeling software to translate the product design into code that instructs the machine

• Select cutting tools: Choose the correct cutting tools for the job

• Adjust machine settings: Adjust the machine settings to meet the product specifications

• Operate the machine: In some cases, the programmer may also operate the machine to create the product

• Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot issues that arise during the instructional design process

• Maintain equipment: Maintain and update the equipment

• Follow safety protocol: Follow all company safety protocol

CNC programmers should be creative, analytical, and detail oriented. They should also be able to work independently, follow directions, and have a positive attitude.

• Setup and Operation of CNC and Manual Milling Machine

• Perform complex setup operations such as mounting and indicating appropriate fixturing, vise(s), and/or angle plate(s) and set multiple work offsets in machine control without supervisory assistance.

• Read and follow a tool list to be able to assemble required tooling and set tool offsets in machine using touch probes and/or Pre-Setter.

• Proficient in CAM software (GibbsCam), able to create full machining programs, including tooling selection.

• Trouble shoot part issues and make work offset(s) and/or tooling offset(s) adjustments as necessary to ensure high quality parts that meet required specification and tolerances. Work with engineers and other team members for problem solving Work with Management in the training of lower-level machinists.

• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations

• Document actions by completing production and quality forms

• Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures

• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years recent experience with running, set-up and operation of CNC Vertical Mills and manual Milling Machines.

• Able to read dial & digital calipers, micrometers & height gauges

• Worked with tolerances as small as +-.001"

• Be able to read & follow directions from blueprints with strict tolerances

• Must have worked with aluminum, steel & stainless-steel materials

• Oral and written communication skills for a team environment

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance

• Experience with Deburr machines, Turret Punch Presses, Shears and Haegers a plus

• Detail oriented, organized, analytical

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Hours: Mon. - Fri. 7:30 -4:30pm (overtime as needed)

Pay rate: $26.00 - $30.00 (depending on Experience)
