We are looking to expand our IT team with an IT Support Technician. This role is focused on providing technical support and guidance for company employees. This is primarily an in-office position that will sometimes require trips to construction sites and offices in PA, NJ, DE, and future markets as the company expands. This role will work closely with the IT Administrator and IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for all company employees, equipment, and software.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows laptops, iPhones, iPads, and other IT equipment.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and IT asset inventory using ticketing systems and asset management software.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for support, device repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Follow established IT policies and procedures.
• Travel to offices and construction sites to deliver onsite support and perform installations as needed.
• Stay updated on technology trends and solutions relevant to Windows laptops, iOS, and construction environments.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles, with demonstrated expertise supporting Windows laptops and iOS.
• Working understanding of Windows operating systems, iOS, networking, and office software.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows laptops and mobile devices, including connectivity challenges in remote settings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout IMC's operating area.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment as required.
• Ability to work independently and think critically.
Preferred Skills
• Experience providing remote support, preferably in construction or other industries with field offices.
• Knowledge of the Office 365 platform, including Microsoft Defender and Intune.
• Technical/support experience with the following software: Sage 300, Timberscan, P6.
