Material Handler

PGS Worldwide is hiring a Material Handler in Phoenix, AZ for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. This role ensures continuous production flow by moving, tracking, and verifying materials within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The position follows a Monday-Thursday schedule, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Required Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or stockroom environment (or equivalent technical schooling)

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, reports, and documentation accurately

Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle

Hands-on experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production workflows

Ability to use both hands for material handling, inspection, and packaging tasks

Must be capable of lifting, pulling, or moving up to 50 lbs unaided

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict quality and timing standards Preferred Skills

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments

Familiarity with logistics processes, such as replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory control

Strong teamwork and communication skills across departments Responsibilities

Move materials and components to support continuous production flow

Record and track material movements using ERP or data entry systems

Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in inventory systems

Support kitting, staging, and replenishment of production materials

Handle incoming and outgoing materials safely and efficiently

Maintain clean and organized storage and production areas

Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory standards required in aerospace environments

Collaborate with leads and supervisors to resolve inventory or production flow issues
