About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Data Warehousing (DWH), data validation, and automation to support large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives. This role involves defining test strategies, leading execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define and drive comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration, data validation, API, and automation testing

* Develop detailed test plans and lead execution across multiple workstreams

* Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Postman/Newman, or similar tools

* Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitOps practices

* Perform complex SQL-based validations, data profiling, and data integrity checks

* Lead Business Process Testing (BPT) across multiple upstream and downstream systems

* Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage onshore/offshore QA teams

* Ensure quality delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments

Required Skills:

* Strong experience in Data Warehouse testing and cloud data platforms

* Hands-on expertise in Python and API automation

* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git

* Strong SQL skills for data validation and integration testing

* Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Informatica Cloud (IDMC, CDV, DVO)

* Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB

* Experience testing real-time data streaming and messaging systems like Kafka or SQS

* Strong leadership and coordination skills in enterprise environments
