The Role
Ensure food safety, product quality, and GMP standards within production by conducting quality checks, monitoring processes, completing documentation, and verifying traceability. Act as the main Quality contact for assigned areas while supporting compliance and resolving quality issues with production teams.

Summary
Support the Quality function by maintaining food safety, product quality, and GMP standards across production. The role involves conducting quality checks, completing documentation, ensuring traceability, and working with production teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities
-Conduct detailed checks on raw/cooked materials against specifications.
- Manage GMP standards in the factory.
- Own daily GM standards, ensuring timely and professional communication and
resolution of GMP issues in the factory.
- Responsible for Environmental swabbing in production areas.
- Put product on hold and manage product on hold.
- Daily relevant area checks to be completed and uploaded to SF360.
- Daily Start Up / Shut Down checks.
- Relevant temperature checks to be completed and uploaded onto SF360.
- QA metal check verification where necessary.
- Chemical checks that are required
- Product testing schedule adherence.
- ATP swabs where relevant.
- QA task sheet completion and uploading on safe food.
- Bord Bia record completion.
- Crumbing Record completion when required depending on shift.
- Allergen/Species Changeover Verification Washdown completion when necessary.
- Non-conformance compliance.
- Act as the main Quality point of contact daily for area assigned to.
- Verify labelling and controls, ensuring full traceability is maintained.
- This role will follow a shift pattern which may be rotated between areas.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organised, and committed to maintaining high quality and food safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will have strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive work ethic, and the ability to manage documentation accurately. Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required, while experience with Safefood 360 and SAP would be advantageous
