About the Team

The Fraud team at DoorDash is dedicated to reducing the cost of fraud and developing innovative solutions to protect our platform from malicious activity. This team focuses on balancing user experience with security, ensuring a seamless and safe environment for Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants. As a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, you will play a key role in detecting and mitigating fraudulent activities across new business lines, investigating cases of fraud, and implementing long-term strategies to reduce risk.

About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments. In this role, you will analyze fraud patterns, implement customized solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect the integrity of our platform. You will take ownership of fraud prevention initiatives and contribute directly to the company's growth and security.

Responsibilities:

Define and execute DoorDash's fraud strategy for new business lines, ensuring minimal impact on good users while blocking fraudulent activity.

Conduct end-to-end analysis of fraud vectors across the platform to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams to establish fraud prevention goals and implement strategic programs.

Leverage data-driven insights to design, run, and optimize experiments aimed at reducing fraud while supporting business growth.

Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align fraud prevention efforts with business objectives.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or a related field; experience in high-growth environments preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel (ability to manage complex spreadsheets).

Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, meet goals, and work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

Experience in risk management, fraud detection, or payments security is a plus.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
