Job Title: Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager
Position Overview
At Malley's Chocolates, our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are the face of our brand-delivering warm, memorable customer experiences and supporting the daily operations of the store. Whether helping a customer select a gift or restocking a display, Sales Associates bring enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride to every shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in a clean and organized space, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced retail setting.

Store Presentation
Keep displays neat, clean, and fully stocked.
Follow store guidelines for merchandising and visual standards.

Learn about Malley's products and current promotions to assist customers with recommendations.
Follow all store policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety practices.
Ask questions and seek clarification when unsure of store procedures.
Attendance and Reliability
Arrive on time and ready to work all scheduled shifts.
Stay focused and productive while on the floor, contributing to store operations throughout the shift.
Sales and Performance
Sales Skills
Use suggestive selling to promote seasonal items, Founders Favorites, and featured products.
Support the store's sales goals by recommending items that enhance the customer's purchase.
Store Goals Contribution
Understand how daily tasks support the store's overall performance.
Complete assigned tasks thoroughly and on time to help meet team objectives.
Autonomy and Initiative
Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through without constant direction.
Look for opportunities to assist teammates and customers throughout the shift.
Keep busy during slower times by restocking, organizing, or preparing for the next customer.

Qualifications
Previous customer service or retail experience is helpful but not required.

Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up-to 25 lbs. occasionally.
