Position Title: Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Citizenship Requirement: Must be a US Citizen

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to support highly critical production environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, cloud-agnostic infrastructure using automation, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on DevOps expertise, a deep understanding of multi-cloud environments, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to support infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP

Build, modify, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation and configuration management

Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, including serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP)

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD

Apply GitOps principles to manage infrastructure and application deployments

Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues in production environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and system reliability

Ensure scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments

Drive best practices and continuous improvements across DevOps and cloud engineering processes

Required Qualifications:

8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related engineering roles

Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP including core services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, serverless, monitoring)

Deep expertise in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code across multi-cloud environments

Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD

Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration

Proficiency in Linux system administration

Strong scripting and automation experience using Python

Experience implementing GitOps practices for deployment and infrastructure management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integrating AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency

Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments

Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization experience in production systems

Additional Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen

Must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment

Must be open to potential contract-to-hire conversion#ZR
