Responsibilities
Set up the rotary die cutter with precision to ensure accurate printing, scoring, and die cutting per operational specifications.
Inspect dies thoroughly before and after production runs to ensure timely repairs and optimal performance.
Ensure all bolts on the die cut cylinder are securely fastened.
Monitor box quality closely, checking for liner integrity, warping, correct dimensions, die cut precision, and print quality.
Achieve proficiency in machine operations, including pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, and load former.
Manage ink effectively, making necessary adjustments for pH and viscosity.
Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the production team.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully in a fast-paced production environment while meeting quality standards and efficiency goals.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
Mathematical proficiency and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to accurately use a tape measure.
Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays as needed.
