Position Details:
Pay: Up to $90,000 Yearly
Bi-Weekly pay

Position Purpose:
As a vital part of America's food supply chain, our delivery drivers ensure that customer products arrive safely and on time, building lasting relationships along the way. The CDL-A Driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload food and related products in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Act as a team member, fulfilling any assigned duties to best serve the company.
Conduct required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections of vehicles per DOT regulations.
Report any safety issues or required repairs promptly.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines and policies.
Inspect trailers for proper loading and secure freight.
Perform item count checks and verify customer invoices for loaded products.
Accurately complete all paperwork associated with freight delivery.
Drive to deliver customer orders according to a predetermined schedule.
Unload products and transport them to designated storage areas.
Check for damages and follow company policy for handling damaged goods.
Confirm delivery with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
Handle cash or checks when required and ensure secure trailer closure.
Unload any customer returns and complete required paperwork.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tractor and loading area.
Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
12+ months of commercial driving experience
Valid CDL-A
Must be 21 years of age or older
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass a road test
Obtain or have a valid DOT Health Card
Able to lift and utilize equipment to move product cases/freight of varying sizes and weights
