Role Overview

As a Business Operations Associate Intern, you will be a vital part of our dynamic team, ensuring everything operates smoothly. Your tasks will include coordinating product shipments, managing our Shopify store, organizing team events, and assisting the founders with strategic projects. We're seeking a proactive individual who embraces efficiency, utilizes AI tools, and has a keen eye for design and detail. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll experience various aspects of a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate physical shipments of security products, including tracking orders, preparing packages, and communicating delivery timelines.

Manage and maintain the company’s Shopify store, focusing on inventory management, product listings, and order fulfillment.

Plan and organize team events and travel logistics efficiently.

Provide support to the cofounders on a variety of evolving strategic and operational projects.

Ensure the office is well-stocked with supplies and snacks to keep the team happy and productive.

Utilize AI tools and platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program at a college or university, preferably in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics).

Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools and a strong preference for their use in achieving tasks efficiently.

An eye for design, with skills in formatting documents, creating slide decks, and organizing storefronts.

Strong organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comfort in managing logistics and coordinating shipments or deliveries.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting, juggling multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of independent work.

Availability to work in-office in downtown San Francisco for 10-20 hours per week.

Preferred Skills

An interest in cybersecurity, technology, or the startup environment.

Experience with Lovable or similar AI application-building tools.

Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

Experience in coordinating events, travel, or conference logistics.

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management.

Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion).

Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) for light creative tasks.

Prior internship or work experience in an office or operational role.

Compensation
