Technical Test Analyst

To design, maintain, and enhance technical test scripts that support automated testing processes, ensuring system stability and preventing defects in the live environment. This includes debugging test results and refining scripts to improve accuracy and reliability.

Test Design & Execution

Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases.

Design test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

Automation & Scripting

Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

Develop test automation for APIs, web applications, and mobile applications.

Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests for continuous testing.

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage and quality.

Provide test reports, defect analysis, and recommendations for improvement.

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Technical Skills

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.

Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).

Experience with SQL and database testing.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to testing.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

ISTQB certification (preferred but not required).
