Description
Responsible for management and administrative duties relating to the Forestry Department Office, using good judgment carrying out policy, regulations and procedures.
This position is part-time at 25 hours per week. The person in this position will work 5 days a week with the hours per day yet to be determined. The person in this position will be enrolled into the Wisconsin State Retirement (WRS) System.
Examples of Duties

Budget Development and Maintenance
Maintaining Accounts and billing
Maintaining and reporting Grants to the DNR
Coordinates Department for maintenance, mailing, shopping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands.
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
Coordinate with IT Department on all office equipment
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers ensuring that all invoices are paid on time.
Provide general support to customers
Handles requests for information and services from County employees and the public.
Typical Qualifications
Technical Degree in Accounting or related field, or 4 years' experience in related field.
Typing rate of 55 words per minute.
Experience/Proficiency Microsoft Office.
Ability to read plat maps and understand legal land descriptions.
Knowledge, experience or accounting with accounting principles and terminology.
Ability to maintain effective public and working relationships.
Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Knowledge of Timber Sales management
Knowledge of Parks and Recreation management
Grant Management
Budget Development and Maintenance
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills

Physical Requirements
This job entails minimal physical demands, typically found in an office environment, with very limited exposure to workplace hazards. Some lifting, moving, bending, and twisting.
