Required Skills:

ETL Developer with 7+ years of strong ETL SQL development, database, programming, and analytical skills

Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services - SSIS

Experience writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.)

Experience in writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.)

Experience with data governance best practices/procedures

Investment/financial market industry experience

Excellent communicator and be able to produce clear and concise documentation

Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

Demonstrated experience working independently with only high level guidance

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist with overall ETL Support (development, production support, documentation) and other development efforts as needed.

ETL Production Support - Monitor and maintain existing ETL processes.

Code Data Movement - Provide support in the design, development, and implementation of ETL packages with SSIS.

Development - SQL Development support to include creation of stored procedures, views, etc.

Performance Tuning - Review existing SQL Queries, Execution Plans, Partitions, and Index(s) to determine performance enhancements for long running queries.

Data Manipulation - Provide alternative options to existing data manipulation techniques. Examples would be converting Excel manipulation activities into SSIS packages that reduce process/cycle time of data preparation.
