2nd shift Machine Operator, Weld & Assembly

Position Summary: The Machine Operator in the Weld & Assembly Department is responsible for operating machinery efficiently to meet production goals, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and organized workplace. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Range: $16.82-$21.41 plus .75 shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload parts into machines.

Operate machinery to meet production goals.

Report production issues and communicate machine status to supervisor.

Document production issues in PLEX.

Adhere to A.J. Rose quality policy by following work instructions and performing tasks to standard (1.0/3.0).

Maintain workplace organization and ensure processes align with company quality goals.

Actively participate in A.J. Rose safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.

Work effectively in a team setting to achieve departmental goals.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills:

Ability to read and interpret graphic displays and follow detailed procedures.

Excellent organizational skills to efficiently handle routine tasks.

Detail-oriented and conscientious with a strong work ethic.

Dependability and ability to adapt to new procedures and continuously learn.
