Job Description

Join our dynamic transportation team as a Bus Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and friendly transit services. In this energetic role, you will operate various types of buses—including school buses, shuttle buses, and motor coaches—ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time. Your expertise in driving, customer service, and vehicle maintenance will help create a positive experience for all riders. Responsibilities

* Safely operate different types of buses such as school buses, shuttle buses, motor coaches, and paratransit vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.

* Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.

* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, checking mechanical components, safety equipment, and cleanliness.

* Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and safety checks to ensure compliance with transportation regulations.

* Communicate clearly with dispatchers and passengers using effective communication skills to coordinate routes and relay important information.

* Follow all safety protocols during driving and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or breakdowns.

* Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary to keep buses operating smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus or passenger vehicle operation.

* Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles with a focus on safety and customer service.

* Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

* Familiarity with paratransit services, motor coach operations, or limousine driving is a plus.

* Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members.

* Knowledge of traffic laws related to school bus driving, commercial driving, and shuttle operations.
