Coding Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Coding Architect who combines strategic technical leadership with strong hands-on development skills. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who can guide product-focused engineering teams, modernize legacy systems, and architect scalable cloud-native solutions.

You will work closely with product owners and engineering teams to translate business goals into robust technical architectures while actively contributing to the codebase and mentoring developers.

This position suits professionals with 10–25 years of engineering experience who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and improving development velocity across organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Architect complex, scalable systems and define technical direction for product initiatives

Work hands-on in the codebase while mentoring engineering teams

Identify and resolve development bottlenecks to accelerate delivery

Collaborate with product owners on discovery, roadmap planning, and technical strategy

Modernize legacy systems and design scalable greenfield solutions

Apply AI-enabled tools and modern engineering practices to improve code quality and productivity

Provide technical leadership and guidance across distributed teams

Requirements

Must Have

10+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong hands-on coding background

Deep cloud-native and full-stack development expertise

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms

Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures

Knowledge of systems architecture and security practices

Some exposure to data platforms or AI technologies

Experience collaborating with product teams on discovery and roadmap planning

Nice to Have

Consulting experience in technology or digital transformation projects

Previous roles such as CTO, Technical Lead, Product Engineering Leader, or Architect

Experience modernizing large legacy systems without full rewrites

Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously

Experience with mobile development or modern frontend frameworks

Agile leadership experience (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or team mentoring)
