Fleet Assistant

The Fleet Assistant supports the Manager of Fleet Services to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for all programs of Fello and Fello Communities. In this role, the Fleet Assistant completes routine maintenance on all agency vehicles and collaborates on the coordination of the Fleet Maintenance plan. When needed, the Fleet Assistant works cooperatively with External Relations to provide event support. This position is designated as essential and must work during times of emergencies.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of work experience, including experience driving various types of vehicles. They possess knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, materials, tools, equipment, and safety measures. They work collaboratively with diverse personalities and employee populations, adapt well under pressure in an ever-changing environment, and are committed to vehicle safety. They demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. They also have basic computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to learn fleet-related IT systems.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of work experience and experience driving various types of vehicles. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. The ability to drive is a requirement of the position.
