Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Eligibility to receive Federal Public Trust clearance

Established residency in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Candidates must be local to the Washington, D.C. Metro/Northern VA Area

(There might be in-person interview)

Completed Background Investigation in accordance with Subcontract Agreement prior to start of work.

Required Skills: Proficient in Java & SQL. Novice in MarkLogic Desired Skills: Novice in Data Structure, Object Oriented Design,

Java Script Technology Stack: Core Java, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Batch, SQL, MarkLogic, JavaScript

Job Description:

• Technical Design & Build for Java custom development solution

• Produce estimates for new functionality or enhancements

• Report project status

• Track project risk/mitigations

• Review functional specifications and create technical designs for those specifications.

• Develop Java based web-services based on technical designs.

• Knowledge of Spring Batch framework for batch processing.

• Create and execute unit tests for developed components.

• Understand the impacts of changes in the software development lifecycle and make recommendations.
