Your role will be to provide vital personal care and support to residents in our skilled nursing facility, helping them achieve their highest level of independence every day. Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Carry out routine and non-routine tasks as directed by the nursing staff, including feeding assistance and patient transport.
Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
Support residents in executing specific medical care activities, documenting care provided, and alerting nursing staff to any changes in patient condition.
Maintain a clean and safe environment while restocking supplies and assisting with unit organization.
Provide emotional, educational, and spiritual support to families of residents.
Adhere to resident rights, ensuring privacy, and reporting any allegations of abuse or neglect.
Follow established safety and infection control procedures to maintain a secure environment for residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
You must be able to work the specified hours and fulfill essential job functions effectively. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals with disabilities. Required:
Certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) within 120 days in the state of practice.
Preferred:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Less than 1 year of related experience or training in a healthcare setting.
