W2 pay rate: $44/hr

Conversion salary: $90K

Job Summary:

Heitmeyer Consulting is seeking a Automation Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our banking clients. This role requires proficiency in test automation tools, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing and understanding of TDD and ATDD. The Automation Developer must have the ability to translate functional User Stories into quality automated test cases. To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized, with strong learning and training abilities. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks to agreed schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution of all testing to ensure proper coverage.

Schedules and leads test deliverables review sessions as necessary.

Collaborates with the Business, BSA and Development teams in the analysis, review, and translation of User Stories to ensure testability, coverage, and to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives. Automate these test cases and execute on regular basis.

Create and maintain test cases and test data using test automation tools.

Write, review, and maintain the automation test scripts in RubyMine and other automation tools. Job Qualifications:

5+ years developing test automation.

Automation experience with industry standard testing/development and quality assurance methodologies and validation processes.

Proficient in Azure Devops with defect tracking, document management, and knowledge base systems.

Proficiency in using testing tools Microsoft Test Plans, query experience with (SQL Server) and Internet Technologies (different browsers, HTML, JavaScript, etc.), RubyMine, Ruby/Cucumber, Microsoft Test Manager, SOAP UI, Mainframes. Preferred Qalifications:

Automation experience using Ruby/Cucumber or Spec flow.

Experience with Keyword, Modular and data driven framework, performance testing using Jmeter or any other open source technology. Preferred experience with database and service testing.

Experience in scrum and implementing TDD or ATDD.
