Hybris Developer

Description:

The Sr. Hybris Developer will be a member of a global team with a key emphasis on providing development support and maintenance across the organizations Digital Experience Platform powered by Hybris eCommerce.

The person filling this role should be a senior level applicant with multiple years of experience in java development. List of key responsibilities:

Develop software per industry standards and architectures

Make modifications to existing software to handle new business processes.

Analyze requests for changes to existing software to determine impact on related systems.

Participate in structured team code reviews making suggestions where appropriate Qualifications

Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy

Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environment and work as part of a team or independently to achieve objectives

Strong problem solving skills and technical aptitude

Strong verbal and written communication skills Required Experience:

5-7 years of hands-on experience and/or familiarity with Java, J2EE

4+ years of development experience on the with Hybris Commerce (Cockpits, Impex, WCMS, Customizing Extensions, Cart, etc)

Experience with Spring Framework (MVC) or similar framework(s)

Demonstrates strong knowledge of development design patterns

Experience with source control (svn, git - preferred)

Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON)

Ability to create SQL queries involving the joining of multiple tables

Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX and its use in formatting web pages

Knowledge of the construction/use of XML data sources
