Project Manager/Estimator

Project managers/estimators are responsible for planning and overseeing projects from the beginning stage of setting the budget to completion in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Determine and define project scope and objectives.

· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.

· Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements (plans, specifications, site

surveys, etc.)

· Track project costs in order to meet the budget.

· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

· Provide project updates consistently to senior management about strategy, adjustments, and

progress.

· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected

deliverables.

· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.

· Monitor progress and adjust as needed.

· Conduct regular site inspections

· Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

· Handle all final inspections and closeout documentations

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

· 5-8 years of project management/estimation and related experience

· Project Management certifications preferred.

· Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.

· Excellent analytical skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Background Investigation:

· All candidates are required to complete a background investigation. Results will be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of the position and applicable tribal, federal, and state laws. Candidates must be able to pass all required background checks, including, where applicable, a Public Law 101-630 background check to ensure compliance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.
