Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

Must be local to Columbus, OH and be able to work onsite 4 days a week.

-Candidates must be able to work on a W2 basis; C2C arrangements are not permitted, and sponsorship is not available for this position.

We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team.

In this role, you will contribute to building data-driven solutions that enable the business to leverage data as a strategic asset.

As a Lead BSA, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, document technical specifications, and build and manage the product backlog.

You will play a key role in Agile delivery, supporting the development of Features and User Stories while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key technologies within the EDW environment include Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:Serve as a liaison and subject matter resource for stakeholders, Product Owner, and Agile team membersWork within an Agile environment to translate requirements into well-defined Features and User StoriesFacilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and document source-to-target data mappingsPartner with Product Owner and SMEs to refine Epics into actionable Features and User StoriesLead backlog refinement sessions, ensuring user stories include clear acceptance criteria and story point estimatesSupport backlog readiness to ensure stories are prioritized and ready for developmentParticipate in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating project risks and issuesCollaborate with Application BSAs to identify and escalate impediments to the Scrum Master Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment3+ years of experience using SQL for ad-hoc querying and data analysis Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the financial services (banking) industry5+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS S35+ years of experience in data modeling using Erwin or similar tools5+ years of experience with enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards5+ years of experience creating source-to-target data mappingsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience leading other BSAs on a project team
