We’re Hiring: Technology Lead Java SOA and Webservices

Location: Raleigh, NC 27604

Duration: 6 Months Contract

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on development, technical leadership, and the ability to guide engineering teams toward successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable Java-based applications

Perform coding, defect fixing, and code reviews

Build and maintain RESTful services and microservices architectures

Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality and consistent delivery

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Guide engineering teams with best practices and technical direction

Required Skills:

8–10 years of experience in Java development

Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices

Experience with Spring Security, SQL, and build tools like Gradle

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, VPC, IAM, SQS, and SNS

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Nice to Have:

Experience working in Agile environments

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
