Job Title: CNC Operator - 1st ShiftJob Description
The CNC Operator is responsible for performing all aspects of production machining required to produce quality products at an acceptable level. This includes operating and maintaining vertical and horizontal CNC lathes and machining centers, often working from blueprints.Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a variety of CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal lathes and machining centers.
Maintain tools and gaging provided, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
Achieve a production efficiency of at least 80%.
Ensure all materials meet or exceed quality requirements.
Maintain machine cleanliness and complete production control charts daily.
Support compliance with quality policies and procedures.Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in CNC machining.
Proficiency in machine setup and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and work off blueprints.
Experience with precise measuring tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications

The work takes place in a non-climate-controlled shop with a generous point structure for performance management. The 1st shift operates from 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with possible work on Fridays as needed. Occasional weekend work may be required, occurring once every few months.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Platteville, WI.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.50/hr.
